Privacy Policy

Checkout Club is made by Zossoz, Inc. (“Zossoz,” “we,” “us”). The short promise: your darts are yours, and we never see them.

The short version

• No account and no sign-up.
• We run no servers and collect no personal data.
• No device permissions: no camera, microphone, photos, contacts or location.
• Players, matches, stats and tournaments live only on your device, unless you choose to share a tournament or league through your own iCloud.
• No ads, no analytics, no tracking, no data sales.

What Checkout Club stores, and where

The players you add, every match and dart you score, your tournaments, leagues and settings are stored locally in the app’s own storage on your device. Nothing is ever sent to Zossoz. The one exception is iCloud sharing, described next, and that goes to Apple’s iCloud under your Apple ID, never to us.

Sharing a tournament or league through iCloud

If you invite people to a tournament or a league, Checkout Club uses Apple’s CloudKit to create a private iCloud share for that one item, never your whole history. The share holds that tournament (or the league’s tournaments), its matches and scores, and the names of the players in it. People you invite see it through their own iCloud account and can score their own matches, which sync back to everyone in the share. Your own casual matches are never included. Sharing requires iCloud; if you never share, nothing leaves your device. Stopping or leaving a share never deletes anyone’s local copy.

Widgets and Live Activities

The Home Screen widget and the Live Activity (the live scoreboard on your Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island) read a small snapshot of the match on the board, your last result or a league’s champion. The app writes that snapshot to a private App Group container shared only with its own widget. It never leaves your device.

Purchases

Checkout Club Pro is an optional one-time in-app purchase. It’s handled entirely by Apple through StoreKit; Zossoz never sees your payment details. You can restore it any time from Settings with “Restore Purchases,” and it’s available to your family through Family Sharing.

What we don’t do

• No analytics or tracking SDKs of any kind.
• No advertising and no data sales.
• No collection of names, emails, contacts or device identifiers.

Children

Checkout Club is not directed at children under 13 and collects no personal information from anyone.

Deleting your data

Delete matches, tournaments and leagues in the app at any time, or remove players from your pickers. Deleting the app removes everything stored on your device.

Changes to this policy

If Checkout Club ever changes in a way that affects your privacy, we’ll update this policy and its effective date before that change ships.
